Using Naming Conventions for Documents

Many departments have established requirements for naming documents that are saved, developed, or imported into E-Synergy. The document outlining the conventions can be found in the E-Synergy document library under Training/E-Synergy.

If you haven't looked at this document for a while, and you are putting documents into the library, please take the time to review the Naming Conventions soon to ensure that you are naming documents as required by your department.

  1. From your home page, click on the Documents link at the top right. This displays the Main categories page.
  2. At the bottom right, click on Training.
  3. At the Document – Categories page, click on E-Synergy. This takes you to a page with one link for all E-Synergy documents. Click on that docs link to open the Naming Conventions window.
  4. Click on the Naming Conventions.doc and either open or save the file. Look for the naming conventions that apply to your type of document.
